Summary
Hope Mills Mayor Jessie Bellflowers barely squeaked out a win for his second term, so local government is business as usual. If you live in town, this means no big shake-ups at the top for the foreseeable future.

Impact analysis
Since leadership isn't changing, don't expect any sudden shifts in city spending or your local taxes anytime soon.
Current city contractors and residents who like stability will probably appreciate that the mayor's office didn't change hands.
Anyone hoping for a fresh face in the mayor's office or a totally different direction for the town is probably pretty bummed.
